I remember when I was first becoming a Catholic Christian. I would literally run from my place of work at noon to make it to the 12:10 Mass down the street. I was often out of breath as I gathered myself before walking into the doors of the church. It was a liturgical Church and Mass was new to me and so there was a bit of a learning curve, but there was no delay in the grace of God. Herein are memories of Mass and may you the reader find the joy of prayer as God graces you with His presence.

I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin and all the angels and saints, and you my brothers and sisters to pray for me to the Lord our God.

Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth. – Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory. – Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father; Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us: you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer. – For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of His name, for our good, and the good of all His Church.

Holy, holy, holy Lord,

God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest.

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: grant us peace.

Lord, I am not worthy to receive You, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
